Michael Korn works at the Jacksonville office and specializes in general civil and business litigation and appellate practice. He has a great deal of experience handling appeals in federal and state courts in every area of civil law, including business and banking law, labor and employment law, marital and family law, construction litigation, health care, personal injury and wrongful death, real estate, land use, and condemnation.

Mr. Korn is available for consultation on potential appellate issues and trial support during the discovery, pretrial, and trial phases of litigation. Community Involvement

Mr. Korn is a long-time volunteer and has served as a United Way of Northeast Florida leader. Currently, he holds a position on the Community Investment Council. He previously served on the board of trustees, as chairman of the Community Impact Council, the board of directors, and the public policy committee. Additionally, he served as the head of the Resource Management Cabinet, planning the annual distribution of the United Way Community Solutions Fund throughout Northeast Florida.

As part of his work with the United Way, Mr. Korn served as the chair of the ongoing Life: Act 2 project, an innovative and celebrated partnership between senior citizens and funders in Northeast Florida. From the project’s inception in 2000 until 2004, Mr. Korn was actively involved. In 2004, he oversaw the successful pursuit of a multi-year grant from the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation for local senior programs, totaling over one million dollars.

Mr. Korn has headed the Citizens Advisory Board for WJCT Public Broadcasting and previously served as a member of the board of directors of WJCT Foundation, Inc. He also formerly served as the president of the Nonprofit Center of Northeast Florida. For a significant time, he has been an official and board member of the Jewish Federation of Jacksonville.

At the moment, Mr. Korn holds the position of chairman-elect for OneJax, an institute of the University of North Florida and an interfaith organization that promotes harmony among all peoples.
